It's said that the same mind that made me love this series is connected to the mouth that test's that love. As other reviews have said, the way he pronounces words is also quite annoying, but I can live with it.
There are times when the story is good enough to block it out, but once I hear it, I can't stop hearing it.
I can get past the flat reading and every character sounding the same, I got past that in google play days, but hearing him suck in a breath before every line DRIVES ME INSANE. I know a lot of people don't like the authors to be the narrators, but I normally don't mind, in fact, I love that Neil Gaiman reads his own books, but someone at Tanglewood should have told Mike Mullin he sucks as a voice actor. I own this series on google play books and would use accessibility mode to have it read to me while I worked, it was robotic and very monotone, but even then I would prefer it to this narrator. I have listened to this series a couple of times before, its easily one of my favorite series, but I hate the narration. Why ruin this series with horrible voice acting?!
